About Better Wallpapers

Better Wallpapers is an independent curation project built around a simple standard: a wallpaper should still look good after the novelty wears off. We favour balance, clarity and images that work with a real home screen.

Every section is intentionally paced. We would rather publish a compact set with a clear point of view than add hundreds of interchangeable files in a day.

More choice is not always better. Huge libraries can bury their strongest images under near-duplicates, awkward crops and pictures that fight with every icon on the screen. We take the opposite approach: focused categories, useful variety and a quality-first edit that makes choosing a background feel easy.

The collection moves between restrained minimalism, landscape, texture, architecture and colour-led work. New groups are introduced gradually, and each one is reviewed as a collection so the site becomes deeper without becoming noisy.
